Take Part in the Study

Those who are currently, or are planning on taking psychiatric medication can participate. If you have been on antipsychotics, antidepressants or mood stabilizers and have experienced inadequate response, side effects, or may be switching to new antipsychotic/antidepressant medication, we invite you to take part in our study.

Please know that eligible participants must be at least 7 years old and currently, or about to start, using antipsychotic/antidepressant medication.

What is involved if I participate?

A short interview and sample collection, which will take about an hour to complete. A small sample of saliva is obtained from all participants, in order to perform genetic testing. Information about their past and present medications, medical history, family’s medical history, current medical condition, ancestry and treatments are also collected through questionnaires.
