Privacy & Confidentiality

IMPACT follows Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) that govern how your information is collected, who will be able to see your information and how that information will be used.

Personal information collected through questionnaires is stored and protected as defined by legislation. Also, samples and results for genetic tests are encoded, tracked and protected throughout the study protocol. We ensure our participants’ names are not disclosed to anyone outside of the IMPACT study.
